Jesse Nguyen Architecture is a Vancouver-based practice with a broad portfolio of creative work, from architectural to graphic design.

Jesse went to the University of British Columbia and received an undergraduate degree with a major in Visual Fine Arts and a minor in Urban Geography. While at UBC he focused his studies on the social implications of design in the public realm. Then he went to Chicago to earn a Masters of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where there was a strong focus on construction and technical aspects of design and architecture.

Upon graduating from IIT, Jesse stayed in Chicago and worked at Dirk Denison Architects. There, he worked on luxury residential buildings and interiors. Jesse then returned to Vancouver to work for Bing Thom Architects. While working for one of Canada's premier architectural firms and learning directly from Bing Thom, Jesse was able to apply his interests in city building and social design on commercial, institutional, and multi-family projects. Eventually Jesse came to D'Arcy Jones Architects where he was the lead on multiple renovation and new-build single and multi-family residential projects.
